Say no to plain and boring – order checks online

You just opened a checking account, and your bank was nice enough to give you a few starter checks. Maybe they provide your real checks for free, too. But I bet they’re all one color. If you are going to write a check, it should say something about you. It should be interesting to look at, too – after all, it has your name on it! You can find almost any design you want if you order checks online. I go for nature themes. I also spend the extra money for a monogram and a tag line, and I put my professional title with my name too. Cashiers look at checks very closely (or at least they should). A lot of them will say to me, “Oh, you do massage! I need one so bad!” They spend all day standing up. So the extra couple bucks I spend is worth having that opening to hand out business cards.
